So it took a few months, but after hundreds of listens, I finally get every single layer of depth in every line in "Mural" without the help of Rap Genius

Is there anything else after that? What do I win? I see a lot of cats on here saying it's the most lyrical song of the past 5 years...but I don't feel any different.

What was the point of all this :mjcry:

It's Moksha, cause he defeated samsara, and achieved nirvana and brilliance. If u start it where u end this is his freedom from the life death resurrection cycle as begun on they redirect over new

Lyrical masterpiece:wow:
"Are we apps or are we apparitions, operating applications stuck inside an apple prison"
One of the most straightforward bars in the song and if any other rapper said dudes would be astonished

Yeah but what's the point of it? :lupe:

You win your freedom, just as he did.

The point was to put you in a contemplative state of mind. To hit reset on your thought process and give you a pure, objective point to move forward and create from.

The ending:banderas:
"Simple as a buddhist monk in a temple Standing in some heel groove
with the abbot, practising stillness
Real still til he realizes his realness
Defeat samsara achieves nirvana and brilliance"
