Game play issues:

• Blocking A.I sucks

• Zone defense AI sucks

• suction sack
• WR/DB playing the ball in the air
• WR soft and can't catch
• Deflected passes float in the air too wildly and for too long
• Receivers unnecessarily diving
• no foot planting
• Scripted gameplay
• Animations are shyt

Franchise
• XP system is unrealistic
• Contract negotiations aren't realistic
• Preseason players starting in week 4
• opposing teams and coaches don't really adapt to you (both in game, and through offseason moves)

Game has been absolute trash for a good 15 years. The last Madden I truly enjoyed was Madden 2006 and I bought up until 2013 but couldn’t take getting duped anymore. I just don’t get how NFL 2K is still truly a better football game and Madden has had damn near 15-16 tries to get it right since.

Then again NBA 2K has fallen off a bit too the past few years. I guess that’s what happens with no competition I just wish there was a solid alternative to each of these games. Late stage Capitalism for ya. Monopolize and get ya competition completely out the paint while watering down the product.

I remember back in the day there'd be like 3 nba games, 2 nfl games, 2 baseball games, 2 golf games, a boxing game etc.
