i was on my break and this b1tch ass manager said to clock out cuz im just walking around...wtf?!..and said i can't debate it ...im about to go ham next time they try sum sh1t like that... how can u criticize som1 on their break? im allowed to walk around on my break..one of my b1tch co workers snitched on me too.....its really cuz im new i think..dont like this at all lol

I hate this shyt too, people always want to get on your case when they see you on a break, thinking you just bs'n around and not working

Im in the same situation kind of.

Dont work at the mall, I work in the science/tech industry as an engineer. I just got out of school a year and a bit ago. I took this position thinking I would learn a lot and It would be a great place to grow. Basically I got here and was expected to be the man. Everything I learned was on my own and I have way too much responsibility. I should be having a senior guy ahead of me but there is nobody to check my work so if anything goes wrong on the mechanical side its my fault.

Basically the dude who hired me didn't want to pay someone 150gs so he hired me fresh out of school to do the same thing for way less.

Ive been getting home at 9pm like every day for the last three weeks and I have a feeling it will get worse on the next project. I want to quit because this is some bullshyt and I know im being taken advantage of but the experience I've gained has been priceless and im doing some amazing things here. Its actually a great feeling seeing something that came from your mind actually be built. I'm also around some very smart people.

I keep going back and fourth in my head whether i want to stay or not......Its not some bullshyt job that i can show up too and not be mentally there. Im basically using 100% of my brain for 8-9 hours a day and its mentally draining.

Came in here and crushed the building with them grown man problems.

I worked in retail and I know what you mean. I worked at the limited a few years back. The supervisors were cool to my white coworkers, I was excluded and had to do my job. They'd eventually all gather in a corner and Giggle about unprofessional personal matter.

I did a no call no show after my 3rd month. fukk all that bullshyt, this ain't a sorority.


Similar thing happened when I worked at another place as well.

naw you have to stay, sadly because of the position you are in

you leave there and you'll find out that every other place will do the same exact thing

you need to gather up that knowledge and experience, and do so much of a good job that they can't do shyt without you

then you you get enough of that, start looking for another job explaining how much experience you have and get that big payday

but in 2 years you'll be thanking yourself

If you understand what's bolded you will have a much better career. The world isn't just and don't expect the working world to act like you're owed anything. Not directed at anyone in this thread just what I've learned in general.
