Most people buy art and think they're an artist, but are just normal. MJ was a pure artist, which made him seem abnormal to most, which also makes him an easy target. I'm not buying any of the allegations.

Everyone wants to applaud "out of the box" thinking and creativity, sit there and wish they could do it themselves, but yet frown at people who do stuff that:
NOT CARING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF YOU = free spirit and the true way to embrace creativity.
As long as you're not harming anybody else in the process, you're living fine and living right. Has it been proven MJ was doing anything to those kids? No.
But here's the problem. The way the world works, people in charge are truthfully scared of people like MJ who don't want the "norm" for themselves.
Which means you can't confine them to the norm. You can't enslave them in repetitive 9 to 5's where they earn nothing. You can't trap them in college debt. You can't tell them to go to school where they earn great degrees (including engineering and sciences) only to be denied employment by somebody who doesn't approve deep down inside of their skin color or still thinks the "other" candidates will fair better for no logical reason. This is taking no shot at anybody going through or has gone through school, I working through that myself.
However, I guarantee you most of the "educated" on this planet would trade places with someone like Prince in a heartbeat.
People like MJ lived the dream. So yes, that's what we should all strive to be, because that's our right as human beings. We're entitled to that just by being here.
Let's see other types like MJ:
All are just as quirky and artistic. All also have exaggerated gossip about them. All of them like MJ (not certain about Hendrix) also dabbled other artistic avenues (painting, sculpting, etc.). You think those cats care about being "clowned" like most folks do? It's easy to generate rumors about cats that dress like that, because that's what boring normal people do and feast on.
Like I also mentioned in another post, people like most rappers today brag about the art they buy. How many of them are truly artistic though?
Which rappers and other singers, who let's face it have somewhat boring personas in comparison to the MJ's, Prince's, Lady Gaga's, Pharrell's of the entertainment world, could pull off drawings like this?
