Crime rate is way lower compared to the 80's and 90's. No matter where you live, you haven't seen anything. When I came up in the 80's and 90's dudes were foul for no reason, catching bodies for the most petty reasons.

Police were caught off guard in the 80's and 90's, especially in Miami and Ft. Laud. Now the police go extra hard. They even got fully automatic sub-machines for regular patrol.

Its hard to take anyone serious asking who got the hardest hoods, when police lock most cities down.

Watts and South Central do not need to be gentrified, LA is the burbs and so is Oakland. Straight burbs. Always has and always will be. Well, Bed Stuy is still predominately black and it's still not "safe". A 14 year old tried to shoot some kids from another clique on a NYC bus and killed one of the passengers a Dominican immigrant a father with a .357
