Monae makes weird wannabe eclectic triphop with this bullshyt stamped on to it and the shyt is complete garbage. Look if this shyt was some portishead shyt or bjork or some real shyt in the genre. I would give it props. It is not,...monae is just some classically trained sexually ambigious weirdo and the shyt huff as hell and wack.

If it was dope I would say the shyt was dope.

I know this style of music really well.
I been there before it was called an actual genre name.
It is only three artist worth a damn in the whole genre anyway to be honest.

I use to like her but she kind of comes off as holier than thou. I can’t explain it very attractive and really talented but her charm vanished somewhere.

She’s like the female version of Lupe highly intelligent but to the point it feels like she’s belittling the audience that wants to support her.

Why do you think she’s untalented? I’m curious. Just because Big Boi and Diddy provided her with opportunity and the platform to do her thing has nothing to do with musical ability. The ArchAndroid is one of the best albums of recent times and The Electric Lady was a nice follow up. Hell, the Audition was a dope release too. I mean she has a nice voice (which can’t be said about a lot of newer artists out). She’s a great writer, and puts on a great show.
