The storytelling on this :whew:

I decided to stop listening to most gangster rap cause I didn't want to listen to fantasy music glorifying a lifestyle with real consequences. But the way Biggie talks about death on this track is both :demonic:and :merchant:. Super realistic and makes you think about the heaviness of it. That's what set him apart from all the pretenders imo.

5 stars, dap and +rep :myman:

change "good" to great and the best mc of all time. regardless of any era, time or space
you can put on any of biggie's only 2 albums and still to this day they sound just as great as they did in 94' and 97'
in fact, they even more impressive now with how timeless they are and how he was only gettin' better and better with both releases which seems unbelievable
biggie was an mc's mc. it seemed like he could rap all day and all night long, like it was talkin' to him
with guys like easy mo bee on the beats, premier, and then the hitmen, it was inevitable biggie would win and win BIG! oh yeah and with puffy smoothin' out the edges and seein' the big picture with songs like juicy, one more change and big poppa and knowin' what would work on the commercial end of things and even with that, biggie still was biggie without ever seemin' out of character. he was natural for this hip hop shyt. he was born to be an mc and forever change the face of hip hop

biggie = THE GOAT no matter the era, space or time

i don't care who you name and i love rakim, i love nas, i love pac, jay is cool, and i love scarface but biggie was an mc in a class all by himself

change "good" to phenomenal.

I rediscovered his 1st two albums last month. And I've had them both since they were new 20+ yrs ago. But I was a kid then.

Now I listen as an adult and they're amazing.
I'm not even gonna do it fam:mjlol:

On the low though, I know we all can admit that we can some what put jay over big. Let's be kinda real

There's just something about Jay's music that seems like microwaved Biggie's music. When you listen to a song like nikkas Bleed, and listen to the buildup and the tension of the lyrics and how it relates to the beat... you realize it's really unbeatable.

HELL NO!
i got respect for jay for his run in the game but what biggie did musically from 92' to 97', jay has never measured up to in my honest opinion
only thing jay got over biggie his more material but what's that sayin' when a lot of the material ain't all that? not a lot at all

biggie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> jay z

all day, everyday
again, biggie smalls is the illest!
