I got a gambling problem

The last three nights I lost over 300 dollars playing blackjack and keep telling myself every hand going to be my last hand but keep going back to it. WTF I going to go broke at this pace but keep seeing myself able to come out on top but it never happens

Nah mayne, you ain't addicted to Black Jack. Black Jack is just a game where it seems like you have the best chance to win out of all the gambling games.

You might have a gambling problem if:

- You gamble away money you really needed. Like say, if that $300 was money you were gonna spend to take yer gurl to the Abortion Depot.

- You gamble on stupid stuff just to gamble. Like say, I know a nicca who lost $400 playin' Heads Or Tails best 2/3, double or nothing.

You stay on the 12 because 4, 5, 6 are bust cards where a dealer will likely have to draw 2-3 more cards to even be close to making a hand.

Only time you hit soft 18 is when the dealer is showing 9/10/A

If you wanna play strict basic strategy you hit, because the majority of the cards the dealer could have would beat you anyway.

I think its up to the player to make that call because its right on that 50/50 line where you can let the dealer try to beat you, or you can try to make your own hand.

Edit: and unless you're counting you really dont know who has the advantage in that situation.

I split10s against bust cards too...the statistics say you'll lose the money in the long run but I cant fight it

if u count, you can successfully(odds favor u) split tens against 5 and 6 if hi lo is +5, and +4.......but its usually a maneuver that the cameras catch if u winnin.....unless u really bankin its hard to make a livin wage on bj.....its a grind

damn breh. i play blackjack a lot. never learned the real way. counting cards when they use 6 decks is kinda hard. and you gotta think and bet fast.

+4 count......doesnt happen often esp if u aint a reg player.....i play alot durin the winter atleast 10-15 hrs per week

Breh I found online sports gambling in highschool. I had to stop when I was a junior throwing 500 on a random ass baseball game. I made some money at it, but I got to a point where I was stressed out, watching games with the face all the time...

it's actually the reason I'm extra casual as a sports fan now, cause the games are boring to me if I don't have something on the line

I wish I had a casino closer to me, because I've never left vegas with less than I came with. I feel like I could make a decent

i live in ct...10 mins from foxwoods 20 from mohegan.....i just got a couple decks and do basic hi lo count flippin throu the cards and by the end f the deck it should be zero....practice practice and u get fast....then u gotta deal with casino environment with lots of distractions....takes time to acclimate....players slow game down to help count, most people who play the game have no fuxkin clue and they do stupid shyt.......stupid people who are gamblin with money they dont have cause problems and i see it consistently....i enjoy the game but too many bad apples but sometimes their antics are hilarous n amusing.....i just play for fun cause i like math and probability

and foxwoods plays 8 decks but with worse rules H17 than mohegan but a better cut for countin......mohegan is 6 decks and S17 (where they stay on a soft 17)...casino hitting soft 17 gives them a decent edge when playin with razor thin margins

u can count 6 and 8 but u need good rules and a good cut and u can only play like 2-3 rounds, u get mentally tired after a while and r more prone to mistakes....there are really no more good games for the player...those days are over from what ive read.....never play continuous shuffle machines....auto shufflers are fine..speeds game up so casino makes more money....like somone said they got an average of around 10% edge while if playin basic strategy with advantageous rules you can get the edge down to .5% for the casino

I saw a dude lose $2100 right in front of me in roulette betting one number and not even seem remotely upset. Had me and my boys with the face. Of course two spins later the number he was betting comes up and we feel like idiots not betting it.

I've read the same things, also read that the high limit rooms have better rules for the player....which really makes no sense to me. Since they could take the casino for more money than the average player.

Not to put you on front street...but being so close to a casino and being a knowledgeable player would you say your up a good amount or about breaking even at the end of a year?

this is true of foxwoods near me for high limit...i believe they stand on a soft 17 but still play 8 not much diff from 6 in terms of edge...

to get into those rooms u usually have to had played for a while, have bet big (player cards track this) big avg bet and played a large amount of money////it aint hard to get in but bare min is 100 a hand and u know u need to roll with g's near 10 or so to really start play.....but even then its a grind over the long haul......u just got to hope to hit that hot streak early where all ur splits resplits and double downs are hittin and catchin those 4 's and 5's against the dealer 10...u got to just get up and walk out...not think i can win more money this will continue or the other gamblers fallacy of i cant keep losing so ill bet big here and win my money back


usually the vast majority of the people that play the high limit room are not the greatest players....they dont know the game and give the casino big edges esp if they bettin g's on hands.....but they dont give a shyt those couple g's are nothin to them...they jus wanna be enjoyin themselves......the amount of players not knowing what they are really doing far and way outnumber the skilled players so the casino makes a shyt ton still of blackjack

jordan plays a lot of blackjack....playin every hand on the table at once....this is extremely dumb in most scenarios and is not a strategy to play every single round with....only if count is good but he does it all the time......this is just him handin his money over to the casino at an even faster rate....this is why casinos these ultra high rollers cause they really dont give a fukk but antione walker gambled with jordan and theres a reason toine is broke....its not like toine was the only one losin, jordan was easily losin a shyt more but he got unlimited funds
