Not to put you on front street...but being so close to a casino and being a knowledgeable player would you say your up a good amount or about breaking even at the end of a year?

i played alot for fun and im not sayin this cause i probably lost on the year but it was disposable income set aside that i didnt have emotional attachment to....what im sayin is i was playin with money that i could afford to lose....i played from new years till spring consistently taking weeks off here and there but i lost a few g's but i play low stakes 10 15 min 20 weekends, adjusting the bet for the count ...i wasnt playin to make money the hourly rate is low even if ur skilled, u need a large bank roll....its a hobby

since i like to play for fun and play consistently u run into the same cast of characters almost every nite and its not a good scene.....people playin with false hopes of winnin to JUST GET BY...thats what makes it nasty....the lower end tables attract scummy people that blame there bad luck and misfortune on everyone at the table.....people consistently just chasin bets runnin out of money only to be back 10 mins later

the high limit rooms the games are more relaxed but more stressful for you since u fukkin around with large sums

Whats the average dealer making out there....
I heard 30k

should I feel bad because I really dont like tippin yall? :skip:

I make 75K a year. Its all about where you work. Dealing is like waiting tables. If you deal at shytty casino, its comparable to waiting tables at IHOP.

If you deal at Bellagio, Wynn, Aria, etc its like waiting tables at high end Steakhouse.

And dont feel too bad about not tipping. We get our lions share from the high limit room anyway. Trust me, we not worried about you lol.

I'm definitely not trying to be one of those dudes who's livelihood depends on how well they do in a casino, but to be able to pull in a decent amount of side money from there is what I'm interested in.

I have a bankroll that I play with that I'm completely fine with losing so I have no attachment to the money I play with as in needing it's only about 2k so I rarely bet more than forty a hand right now. If I lived closer I'd fund my bankroll even more so that I could bet consistently at higher limits.

It really seems like anything else....to get more out of it, you need to have more money to play with.

I'd honestly be happy with a bank roll of 10k, and being able to walk away from the casino with 100-200 a day playing 50/100.

I wouldnt join the players club, because i'm not trying to be on papers :ninja2:

Thats what I figured anyway.

I read this story a few days ago

Dana White is a really good tipper | Cagewriter - Yahoo! Sports

I'm a dealer at a very high end resort on the Vegas strip.

I dont advise gambling at all, but at least educate yourself to the fullest to give yourself the best odds.

In blackjack lets say you have an Ace and Seven (Soft 18). The dealer is showing a nine. Did you know you are actually supposed to hit?

I cant tell you how many people play a game like Blackjack so badly. The casino averages about a 18% return on the game while the house edge is actually less than 1% if you play correctly.

And to the craps players, what the hell are you doing placing bets in the middle of the table. Stop throwing your money away

Wow, do you have a certain site or book you recommend to learn how to play blackjack properly?

I love gambling, it's just that adrenaline you get when you know you can lose all your money or win big. You can always think to yourself "I got extra money for backup....or do I?":shaq:
