my homie does this kinda work as well. 3rd shift. but they do give him 3 days off. and he got gov't clearance, so he can likely stay forever.

All I can tell you is apply everywhere
It took me like 5 to 7 interviews
Maybe more
I left my job in July and took a temp position, but I've been applying before that

Ppl will give you the runaround and not even interview you for real and not care what you accomplished

All our goal should be is to get into that 1 specialist position, that gives us the skills to be in demand

Oh my situation is different. I *may* have inroads to get something earmarked for me where I am due to turnover. I'm not applying anywhere else until I get my degree and by that time, I would be aiming higher than Sys Admin.
