Pick up a kindle. You can rent books and you can also get bestsellers for 99 cents on sale. It's a good investment because you will have all your books with you and you only have to charge it every 2 months.

You should try it bro. Reading on a kindle is just like reading paper. It doesn't put strain on your eyes like typical lcd screens. I agree though that it is a good feeling to admire a good physical book collection.

You got one of those knockoffs? Kindles are pretty damn tough in my experience (I had a regular Kindle and now have a Kindle Fire HD). How rough are you on your shyt? If you have a case for it, it shouldn't be breaking easily unless you tossing it down stairs or dropping it continuously.

Depends on if you're gonna use it strictly for reading or if you want games and other apps. The Kindle Paperwhite is cool if you want it solely for reading. If you plan on using apps and other shyt, then cop the Fire HD.

I haven't played with the Nook, but I have tinkered around with the iPad.

There are TONS of apps with the iPad... the Kindle has a lot also (Android), but you are pretty much limited to the Amazon Appstore; you can probably get Google Play store to work on the Kindle if you root it. The Kindle is also MUCH cheaper than the iPad (the new generation iPad with similar specs as the 16 GB Kindle Fire HD is probably gonna run you about $400-500 while the 16 GB Kindle Fire HD is $199. The iPad has a 10 inch screen while the Fire HD has two options: the 7 inch or the 8.9 inch (which runs you about $299 for the 16 GB option). You can also get tons of free or cheap eBooks from Amazon, and the Lending Library is ace (you get 1 free rental/month).

Neither one has expandable memory, but both have cloud options, so you can store shyt there if you need more space.

Both have excellent graphics.

I got the paperwhite and sold my kindle touch. You only have to charge it once every 8 weeks and it has a backlit to read in the dark. It has a e-ink screen which is just like reading paper. It doesn't strain your eyes like the ipad or nook. Also, Amazon usually has the best prices on books. Ibooks on the ipad has always had high ass prices. I've gotten a lot of newer books for only a couple bucks. What finally sold me was the kindle lending library. You can rent 1 book per month for free. For example, they have the hunger games in the lending library so can read the whole trilogy for free. Finally, there is whisper sync where you can read on your kindle and pick right where you left off on your phone or iPad.

Yeah I got me a library card a few years ago when my internet serivce was temporarly cut off...I still use it relatvely regularly though just to get online and haven't checked out a book since highschool....Recently I tried to check out old year books from college and highschool though unfortunately couldn't find what I was looking for...I have never checked out a movie either cause I figured they were just old ass boring films I wouldn't be interested in.

Mostly I go to the ghetto/blackfolk library cause there really isnt a time limit online and you are not required to check in the front desk to get on a computer....The downside about that is the underage loud unsupervised kids from the community whom can be annoying...Also I once came close to whoomping a bytch nikka whom accused me of watching him...I also go to a librabry in the neighboring town when I feel like switching it up...Similar to the ghetto library as long as their are open computers your time is unlimited...The drawback there is you have to actually check in the front desk and I don't like talking to the old cac ladies upfront...The worst library to attend is actually the one on the rich side of town...They give you 30 minut elimite online not to mention my last few days going there I would keep being stopped and harrassed by the cops for no reason..I don't go to the downtown librabry at all after being banned.

As far as females go everyone once in a while some very attractive(usually to work on a school related project/application) or apply for a job online...I just saw a bad one like last week infact at the ghetto librabry..She only stayed a lil while but I tired to play it cool and wait a few seconds then folow her out and spit my game but by the time I got out there she was pulling away in her vehicle.. don't feel comfortable using the library as a setting cause it's intimate enough for everyone to hear my business..On another occason I caught of with this gorgeous classy uppidity nubian goddess at the neighboring library while she was entering her car but she said she had a dude;(
