It's much faster, but if you feel like the system is responding well to your needs then stick with the regular hard drive.

i was looking around on the computer and it says that 8gb is the max
could i still use those??
It will take up to 16GB and those have been confirmed to work on 2010 and 2011 models.
Both of those upgrades will make that computer feel like new. Make sure you upgrade the OS to Sierra with all updates before swapping out the drive.

RAM will help, but you would also need to grab a new SSD. That hard drive is slow as fukk.

It's all her stupid pics. She thinks she's a photographer. Plus her mom is a travel agent so shes constantly traveling the world. And she takes millions of pics and videos. I'm scared to even look. Who knows who she went on these vacations with.
I know about getting the ssd for the future but what can help taking these pics out now?
