I actually know someone that makes bank and doesn't work doing this shyt but they are ALWAYS on the phone coaching others or doing meetings online. Flying out to conferences etc.

They sell you on getting your time back but it's like she's always in the office :mjlol:

But she's one of the rare one's that made it work but from the outside looking in it's not like working for yourself it's like working from home remotely but same old job shyt maybe even worse because there are no set hours. She is always on call.

whats sad is, if alotta these ppl worked that hard at a "legit" sales job for a reputable company, they'd probably be semi-successful and make an honest living

Then ain’t no need walking in. Amway is one of the original pyramid companies. My uncle was involved in that shyt 30 years ago and never made any money. He’s always into that kinda shyt.
My girl was livid about that stupid shyt.

Like they believe in her so much, why won’t they front and let her pay her back.

Breh out here selling cutco knives and kirby vaccums :camby:

Not Kirby vacuums.

:russ:

Years ago I was desperate for a job and went to their training for a couple of days. Bruh... this old dude from NY was in there talking about how he made millions selling vacuums, but had the nerve to hit me up for cash on a break.

:mjlol:

I didn’t have shyt to do so I went on a ride to their “demonstration” and was dying at how awkward that shyt was. I fukked up their whole presentation because that shyt was comical. Then they wanted me to do the next one. I dipped on them walking down the street.

A Kappa nikka tried to loop me and my finance and accounting buddies into some bullshyt real estate flipping ponzi scheme called "Nouveau Riche" while in undergrad. Every time I think about this shyt it pisses me off. I'm like nikka, I live in a downtown apartment and drive a ranger rover to school, do it really look like I'm the nikka to link with your sociology major struggle ass and join a ponzi scheme? And out of all nikkas, you pull the accounting folks into this shyt who could sniff out the bullshyt within 30 seconds? shyt was embarrassing.

I still want to beat that nikka ass and its been 10 years. Even one of his colleagues still emails me to this day on some "join me for new opportunities". I emailed her back several times and was like "bytch, delete my email".

Hoe still has the audacity to still email me.....:mjcry:

shyt burns my soul.

Man i met some bytch at a club last year who asked for me number, i legit thought this was one of those rare cases where a chick was coming on to me so i'm like here baby as i tap it into her phone :mjlit:

Bytch calls me a few days later asking to meet up casually like it's just to hang out andi'm thinking to myself damn this is the least work i've ever put in

I ask where we going i can meet you anytime next weekend. She's like cool there's an event i 'want' you to attend you are gonna meet a few millionaires i'll text you the details wear a suit i can't tell you anything about it won't make no sense you have to see for yourself

Straight away i'm knowing something was up, who the fuk would 'want' somebody they only met at a club a few days ago to attend a business meeting with millionaires :dahell:

She texts me some business conference bullshyt a few minutes after the call and i straight away knew that i had been targeted by a pyramid scheme agent. This chick was after my soul not my heart, nice lil brown skin shorty too:mjcry:

Aight so I'm home now.

So we scheduled to meet up at Panera Bread at 8 PM so when I get there first thing I see is one of my friends from one of my classes last semester. Apparently he got invited from the same friend that invited me. :skip:

Anyway so my friend leaves and it's just me and the dude and his wife. We get to talking and he starts asking me a bunch of personal information where am I from how old am I blah blah blah. He says I'll earn about 2,000-3,000 bucks a month doing this and then he asks me what I plan to do with the money. I say I plan to save it and he gets this weird ass look on his face and I'm like OK I plan to take a couple hundred out to buy clothes with it. :sas1:

So we're talking some more and I'm asking dude how am I supposed to get paid for this. He tells me some shyt about me running my own business:skip:Dude then starts drawing a diagram where he's at the top and we have a bunch of lines connecting other people which basically looks like a pyramid. :skip: He starts saying I'm gonna need to sell these Amway products like Artistry Makeup, XS Energy Drink and some Nutrilite shyt. I ask him if I have to pay for these products and he tells me he and his wife will pay for them and I sell them and the return the revenue. :leostare:
So I'm skeptical as to how I'm going to sell these products to and dude tells me my family and friends. :beli:He asks me how many contacts I have in my phone and I tell him and then he says he wants me to sell the products to these people, for example if I'm playing ball with one of my homeboys and he gets thirsty I'll sell him an energy drink. So I tell dude my friends ain't gonna buy this shyt and his wife jumps in. She asks me if I've asked them, I say no. :skip: She says so how are you supposed to know if you don't ask them. :mjpls:I said cause they're my friends and I know them. Plus I wouldn't buy that shyt myself.:scust:

So at this point I see the chick is starting to get frustrated with me and is catching an attitude. :mjlol:So I let it be known that I think this is a scam and I'm skeptical about this. :stopitslime: Dude tells me he's not trying to scam me because he and his wife plan to guide me through this process and teach me and tells me if we were trying to scam you we wouldn't drive all the way out from Long Island to Fulton Street in Brooklyn to come meet with you.:troll:I tell him but if you were trying to scam me you wouldn't come out and say it though.

So he asks me why I'm skeptical I say I've been doing research and people close to me (the-Coli) have been saying it's not really a trustworthy place. :hamster:When I went to the meeting on Monday he gave me a CD where he told me some dude started this at 18 and retired at 25. I say I don't believe that at all. :francis:His wife comes in and says you think it's too good to be true and I say yeah. :patrice:Dude comes and tells me some shyt about how that guy had work ethic and what you put in is what you get out. :laff: At this point I'm like :russ: so I tell them look I need to go over this and do some more research so I'll text you guys later and dude is like I'll text you first.

Years ago like around 2008, I had 2 boys try to get me into one of these.

They put me on a conference call and it was us and the guy. Whole time I'm sitting there like :patrice:

Dude goes through the spill about how we're gonna make money by signing folks up. I'm like sign them up to do what?:what:

Dude wouldn't give me a clear answer and my boys got mad at me cause they said I was asking too many questions

I guess the dude told them they could make thousands and thousands per month and they let themselves get sold a dream.

It amazes me that folks will fall for this kinda stuff. If u have any critical thinking skills at all, u will see a scam for what it is.

I’ve run across a few of these in my time

One dude had me dying in there. He went to a whiteboard and used Walmart as an example. First he drew a stick man for the CEO, then like 4 stick men below it to represent middle management, then 8 stick men under them to represent the common worker.

Then he drew a pyramid around it and stood there looking smug like he made a point while 3 or 4 people were like :ohhh:
