Aight so I'm home now.
So we scheduled to meet up at Panera Bread at 8 PM so when I get there first thing I see is one of my friends from one of my classes last semester. Apparently he got invited from the same friend that invited me.
Anyway so my friend leaves and it's just me and the dude and his wife. We get to talking and he starts asking me a bunch of personal information where am I from how old am I blah blah blah. He says I'll earn about 2,000-3,000 bucks a month doing this and then he asks me what I plan to do with the money. I say I plan to save it and he gets this weird ass look on his face and I'm like OK I plan to take a couple hundred out to buy clothes with it.
So we're talking some more and I'm asking dude how am I supposed to get paid for this. He tells me some shyt about me running my own business

Dude then starts drawing a diagram where he's at the top and we have a bunch of lines connecting other people which basically looks like a pyramid.

He starts saying I'm gonna need to sell these Amway products like Artistry Makeup, XS Energy Drink and some Nutrilite shyt. I ask him if I have to pay for these products and he tells me he and his wife will pay for them and I sell them and the return the revenue.

So I'm skeptical as to how I'm going to sell these products to and dude tells me my family and friends.

He asks me how many contacts I have in my phone and I tell him and then he says he wants me to sell the products to these people, for example if I'm playing ball with one of my homeboys and he gets thirsty I'll sell him an energy drink. So I tell dude my friends ain't gonna buy this shyt and his wife jumps in. She asks me if I've asked them, I say no.

She says so how are you supposed to know if you don't ask them.

I said cause they're my friends and I know them. Plus I wouldn't buy that shyt myself.
So at this point I see the chick is starting to get frustrated with me and is catching an attitude.

So I let it be known that I think this is a scam and I'm skeptical about this.

Dude tells me he's not trying to scam me because he and his wife plan to guide me through this process and teach me and tells me if we were trying to scam you we wouldn't drive all the way out from Long Island to Fulton Street in Brooklyn to come meet with you.

I tell him but if you were trying to scam me you wouldn't come out and say it though.
So he asks me why I'm skeptical I say I've been doing research and people close to me (the-Coli) have been saying it's not really a trustworthy place.

When I went to the meeting on Monday he gave me a CD where he told me some dude started this at 18 and retired at 25. I say I don't believe that at all.

His wife comes in and says you think it's too good to be true and I say yeah.

Dude comes and tells me some shyt about how that guy had work ethic and what you put in is what you get out.

At this point I'm like

so I tell them look I need to go over this and do some more research so I'll text you guys later and dude is like I'll text you first.
This shyt is hilarious ya'll. I'm gonna have to call my friend I saw at Panera and tell him not to go through with this shyt.
