I was arrested for battery last night. Even though it was self defense and my lawyer thinks i have a strong case they didn't want any parts of it. Its a tutoring job working with young children so they dont want people charged with violent crimes working for them.

Oh! but because I feel your pain. I can't be a teacher for a battery charge as well.

and its a pretty easy job. i did kinda exaggerate my abilities but its mostly just teaching mexican kids english fluency and math. mostly elementary students...

Only reason you should be worried about a job now is to pay for that lawyer. It won't matter though You gonna get the same amount of time with a public defender.

someone threw acid on me one time
ruined my clothes but no scars or anything
they didn't catch any charges over it

you'll be all right- check to see if they rehire you when the case is dropped
if not, you can always get a sitter job watching old people
that pays okay and gives you time to study

because he was threatening to whoop my ass and to get his mom to whoop my ass. he kept lunging at me like he was going to attack me and his mom was in between us so i threw it in his face but it landed on her too. now she talkin bout her skin is falling off or some shyt. and it was acid from my do it yourself chemical peel kit.
