So I get a call from my director saying that I'm being "let go" for said transgression. He then went on to say I wasn't a team player, hard to work with etc. All of which is not true and bullshyt. They tried to tie that original write up of me not wearing the badge into an involuntary termination for me placing a dirty fork on the table. Two unrelated incidents. And they have no proof or no witness that seen me put a dirty fork on the table for service. I feel like I'm being discriminated against based on comments made to me in the past by this particular resident, and some of the management...haven't documented anything but I have wrote down a few comments they have made to me. I didn't sign any of the walking papers they tried to get me to sign. Also, they didn't even provide w/ the original write up which was the basis for them terminating me. Whole thing is fishy and I want to get a lawyer. Do I have a case? I filed a charge of discrimination with the EEOC (they are fukking useless) just to show I at least tried that for when I want to file a lawsuit. Any legal advice??
