This is true...When my younger brother was in kindergarten they wanted to put him in special education for that. You know what's funny? On all the state board test he had one of the highest scores. In the third grade he got the highest score out of all the students.
Truth! There are tons of students with high IQs who don't perform in traditional school settings getting labeled as disabled merely b/c public education lacks engagement.

What do u do with the kid that can take apart a computer and put it back together from memory in 3 mins? Label him other health impaired, get his mother to get a doctor's note for ADHD to justify the disability. Next, put him in special ed classes as he falls behind year after year simply because he learns quicker and faster and isn't conforming to Western public educational system where someone literally talks at u for 5 blocks of 70 minutes per day.

Talent wasted! Blk excellence wasted!

Congratulations! I just transferred to Hunter College before realizing that I wanted to go into business. :pachaha: Now I plan on transferring to Baruch somewhere down the line.

Hunter is not incredibly hard to get into but I was still scared cause one undeserved F made my GPA go from :obama: to :flabbynsick:. I was literally too lazy to go up to my former school and fight it.

Sometimes I feel like a loser for being 23 and still barely halfway through my bachelors but I just gotta keep on trucking. You're an inspiration :sadnat:

PhD student on the coli studying special ed?
All I can imagine is you helping out special ed students by having them work on shooting three point basketball shots in the gym while you are configuring your daily fantasy football team. Then, you chalk it up to hand-eye coordination training.

To the OP, when you do your teaching requirements, are you going to work with kids or are you going to work as a professor assistant?

I was so excited to get in then I was like "fukk..." when I realized I was switching majors. When you transfer you only get accepted to one school, the first choice. If the first choice rejects you, then it goes on to the next choice, etc. You only get one acceptance so who knows if Baruch accepted me.

I'll make the best out of Hunter, get my GPA up, make some connects and shyt. I wanna join the cheerleading team too :wow: I dont even know if it still exists.
