Can we talk about how eerily similar the styles of the rappers Tupac surrounded himself with?

If you listen to a Big Syke album and do it in Tupac’s voice it’d be a bit strange

I wondered that as well because what are the odds of Pac linking up with a dude who had such a similar flow and tone?

I've said before that Big without meeting Pac would be a totally different artist due to his influence on his style, well, the same is true of Syke and Shakur. Listen:



Syke rolled with Evil Mind and Johnny J was their in house producer plus he was a huge part of Pacs life/vibe as they just clicked. This album you can hear how Syke sounded before the meeting and he definitely switched his style up a little bit with the stretched vowels but Pac def took inspiration from his clique and the topics because this is the origin of "My only fear of death is reincarnation" that built his whole image. Similarities were already present but its an interesting thing to hear like this. Listen to this clip:



The whole album sounds like the prototype to S4MN in the same way that Tragedy Khadafis tapes are the obvious precursor to The War Report by CNN as the same DNA is woven through em and it was penned 2 years before he'd link up with Pac. First joint they recorded:
