Im actually going through the process now and currently have a provisional patent. We're not trying to get a full patent though [cost too much and takes too much time] and a patent is is only worth as much as your ability to defend it. We just developed the product. Wrote everything we needed to, developed a prototype, got a provisional patent [paid a lawyer 500 to do this, smh we could have done it ourselves and saved 400 dollars]. Now we're working on a better prototype that should be done by the end of next week. After that we're going to try and license it out or even sell it outright if we like the offer.
