Yes The LOX won
Yes Kiss is probably better than Cam

But that’s it…All of a sudden it was Dipset’s music was trash and DBlock was always better yada yada

Be clear…Dips had the movement and the reach. D Block was a big deal in the Tri state but Dips were represented places they simply wasn’t

I get people were excited…but no

LOX are a goat level group without goat level music. They are complete showmen and performers and the definition of MCs. A lot of Dipset songs are straight up better to me, but it’s not the LOX’s fault that Dipset (minus Jim Jones) showed up washed and “too cool for school” in their performance.

For better or worse Dipset were basically the first meme rappers, that doesn't translate to a good live performance/showmanship.

Which is what that particular Versuz came down to. Dipset were extremely outclassed.

Bullshyt reach on all levels

Dips don't like each other and it led to what you saw, if the Dips fukked with each other and came prepared they would've won the versuz on all levels with even a lil effort put to performing ...

All the versuz showed was that some rappers don't take anything serious and some rappers are professionals and not just i am hear for a check

Did people go overboard? Of course. Still, we're talking about a group that was a huge part of two major powerhouses (Bad Boy and Ruff Ryders). They weren't just some background players. The LOX actually were key players in both camps. And people want to speak about movements. At the end of the day, that doesn't matter when you actually look at the songs. They were featured on legendary records. They have classic joints that were commercially successful and they have the big mixtape joints. Basically, it's cool that Dipset had their movement or whatever, but The LOX had the music and that's what actually counts. In that Verzuz, The LOX had a counter for anything Dipset could've thrown at them. Often, The LOX had the better record.

nobody said Dips music was trash, it was said that it didn't age well.

there's no place that dips touched that Lox didn't they just did it earlier so because one group came later we like to forget... the heights of LOX career are significantly higher than the heights of DIPS careers. If you go tapes D-block if you going commercial... Benjamins over all.

The Verzuz completely killed the Styles >> Jadakiss agenda that had been going strong for like 10 years lol

But it wasn't that serious. It was just A level live performers destroying some F level performers
NO the argument has always been Styles having BETTER SOLO ALBUMS and it's not dead until Jada makes better solos.

I have no idea how old you are but Dipset was the first rap group to have a "movement" online.

FNM on SOHH....memes like "computes putin'"....duck tales, which is a smilie on this site to this day....tons of gifs from their early videos and "Killa Season"....their popularity got a massive push from the internet.

If you're arguing them not being as tightly knit as The Lox also hurt them....ok cool, but Lox is just bars, that's it. A decent chunk of the allure of Dipset was their "swag"....which again, doesn't translate so well to a live show when they're middle aged now.
