I gotta ask..has Kobe ever hit a more clutch shot than this one in the finals?

It's hilarious, kobe has like no championship clinching shots that i can think of :mjlol:
Its crazy that nobody even talks about, for how he somehow got the CLUTCH rep, he doesnt have very many big clutch shots or gamewinners, in the playoffs hardly any.

Probably the best clutch gamewinner he has, that I most hear people bring up is 2006 against Phoenix. Game 4, ran the clock all the way down and splashed it perfect from the elbow to go up 3-1. Fist pump, iconic moment. :wow:

:sas1:Of course it was only the first round, not huge stakes and far from the Finals. In a series where nobody expected the Lakers to win so no real pressure. And of course that ended up being the highpoint in the series for Kobe and the Lakers, as they would fall apart and lose the next 3 games and the series. Game 7 they would lose by about 30 while Kobe went for 1 made field goal in the first half as the Lakers season slipped away. He looked disinterested, passive.

What? :merchant: KOBE?! :childplease:

Yes :usure: Kobe.

Many called it a performance of protest, other said he just got tired, or lost belief in his team. "Quit" was the word most often used to describe tbe performance. Looking back now it certainly reminds me why watching James Harden's performance to finish the Spurs series felt so familiar. :sas1:

So anyway yeah, that's the sad and ignored epilogue and ultimate result of Kobe's all-time best clutch moment in the postseason.

Thing that make you go :jbhmm:

Coli dont do team success :gucci:
"Team success factors in unless its Bron and the 2014 Heat or 2015 Cavs. But we can't forget Ray Allen's complete take over in 2013 that single handedly saved Brons legacy or Kyrie's single handed takeover in game 7 of the 2016 finals. In reality Bron should be 1-8 in the finals because we should count 2009 when he lost to Magic even though his team was stacked with all star Mo Williams. Hell maybe even 1-9 since he had one of the GOAT big men the next season in Shaq and still didn't make the finals."

They weren't needed in his Finals wins. Of course he should've performed better in losses like 08 Boston or 04 Pistons but for the most part it either wasn't needed or it just didn't happen. For as much grief as Kobe gets for his Game 7 he was still the leading scorer and was productive in spite his bad shooting.

Kobe's clutch rep comes from him having the heart to take those last shots and not give a fukk. I thought after the 08 Olympics nikkaz woulda dropped this nonsense. I'm convinced that Kobe went on some clandestine rape spree a la Cosby and he got all y'all family members. :russ:
