The voice and flow ruin many songs on Victory Lap. Especially when you hear songs like "Real Big" where you can immediately tell by the crisp flow and clear voice that it was recorded during the Marathon era.
"Ruin" is a bit extreme, but I know what you saying. I miss the smooth Nipsey voice & flow that could really bring out the emotion & sincerity in a track. There's alot raspy voice & choppy flows on this.
I need to run it back several times to get a good feel on this album. Off 1st listen, this shyt is quality production wise and Nip did his thing lyrically for the most part also. It's just missing that classic emotion he usually brings on his albums.

So many more I could name. This album sounds very grandiose though. I could be wrong, I need to listen a bit more.
