Lil B's not really a rap artist in the traditional sense. He's a Youtube comedian who raps. There's a bit of a difference.

I deliberately added him to show that even Lil B is more popular than 99% of underground rappers despite not releasing actual albums in stores/music for purchase and having zero airplay.

So what's your favorite underground rapper's excuse for why he/she hasn't made it?

I ain't gonna dispute that, but when I saw Lil B and commercial success in the same sentence I had to say hold up a sec. Just need to restructure that example.
