Instead of putting car in LLC just keep it as personal and use an accountable plan to have your LLC reimburse you...That way you aren't forced to get commercial insurance which is more expensive

In l.a. you average around 20 /hr. Easy money . made 300 in 4 hours last night cause of the Dodger game and Halloween.

fukk!! How far was your average ride? I made like $50 last night in Bmore and my shyt was pinging with no issue. Was about to post at the airport around 1am but I was too tired. Only did 10 rides because my phone was about to die and my amp was charging so I couldn't use the USB cord.

Awesome yeah a lot of insurance companies won't give you the personal rates if car is owned by a company glad to hear your insurance company is reasonable

LYFT IS MY SECOND JOB. MY MAIN GIG DOESN'T REQUIRE MY PRESENCE VERY OFTEN. BUT I'M ON CALL 24HRS/4 DAYS A WEEK. I GET PAID WHILE ON CALL AND THE RATE TRIPLES WHEN I ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO WORK.

FIRST THING YOU DO IS GET AN LLC AND PUT YOUR CAR IN THE NAME OF YOUR BUSINESS. IF YOU GET JAMMED UP THEY CAN'T COME AFTER YOUR PERSONAL ASSETS. GET A SECURED CARD IN YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND BUILD CREDIT WHILE YOU'RE SAVING.

DO NOT BUY A NEW CAR TO DO LYFT/UBER. DEPRECIATION WILL EAT YOU ALIVE. IT'S A FOOL'S ERRAND. BUY A 3-4 YEAR OLD CAR WITH LEASE MILES OR LESS. DON'T SPEND MORE THAN 10K ON THE CAR. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO CASH IT OUT OR BUY ANOTHER CAR IN 2 YEARS AT WORST CASE SCENARIO. EXPECT TO PUT 50K MILES ON THAT CAR IF YOU GO FULL TIME. SELL IT AT 150K NO MATTER WHAT. YOU CAN USUALLY SELL IT FOR CLOSE TO WHAT YOU PAID IF YOU DO IT RIGHT.

CROSSOVER SUVS ARE AWESOME. FORD FLEX SIZED VEHICLES ARE GOOD. LOW ENTRY POINT FOR SENIORS AND GOOD LEG ROOM ARE GREAT. AND FLEXES ARE CHEAP TO BUY AND FAIRLY RELIABLE. FIND OTHER HUSTLES TO PAIR WITH LYFT. THERE IS A THREAD HERE FOR THE BIRD SCOOTER CHARGERS. THAT IS A GOOD WAY TO SUPPLEMENT YOUR LYFT INCOME. ANOTHER GOOD ONE IS AMAZON FLEX. FLEX IS FAR SUPERIOR TO LYFT FOR EFFICIENCY. YOU CAN MAKE UPWARDS OF 36/HR IF YOU'RE FAST AND THE FUEL USAGE AND WEAR AND TEAR ON THE CAR IS MUCH LESS. CROSSOVER SUV WINS FOR THIS TOO.

I make good money cause I work beast mode on the weekends. I work 12 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

And I work a good load on Tuesday and Wednesday but almost never work Mondays

I’m just talking about what I make on the app. (The $2000 is after Uber takes their cut of course). Which is that much. Throughout the 4 days I work I generally spend 21-25 dollars on gas. And then there’s the toll that i pay Ez pass which all depends every week.

There have been weeks where I paid 0 EZ pass because of the time I spent in Brooklyn and Queens.

I wash my car once a week.
