As a former recruiter I can tell you. Your picture is has been used as dart board material for the rest of the week.

Sometimes it is jsut recruiters fishing for CV's. And sometimes its just the client being lazy. Depends on your industry the clients can take anything from less than 24 hours up to a couple of weeks to come back to the recruiter about a resume. I had clients enquire about candidates 6-9 months after I've proposed them.

The worst is when they would have you physically come to their offices. Years ago I remember telling them that’s fuccked up. You don’t tell a job applicant to come see you first before you send their resume to the hiring company. That’s cruel.
