Truth be told... Lumping the "T" into the "LGBTQ" might have set the LGB folks back about 50 years. I'm not sure if it was self imposed, if they were infiltrated, or if this branding was pushed on them. But most people,Gay or Straight have core issues with Trans. What the "Trans" movement/acceptance requires EVERYONE to do is to lie to themselves, and lie to the world. It requires you to accept that up is down and down is up. It requires you to see a trans person that is clearly visiblly a man, and break your brain and say "no, thats a woman". It requires you to believe that a woman, born with a woman genetalia, and a man born with male genetalia that decided to mutilate themselves, and "transition" into a woman are "EXACTLY the same thing". And most people, inherently cant get past that huge hurdle. Once this idea is accepted en mass, it's curtains for humanity. Because we no longer are tethered to truths that have sustained and propelled us for millions of years. I have no personal issue with anyone who identifies as Trans, in fact I will love them, and respect them as fellow human beings. However, I just cant accept the detachment from reality that is required by them. Just my $.02
