10min mile should be good time for casual runners. I know for me 8min mile was where I had to push..10min mile pace ain’t that bad

The army used to be like 1630 for a minimum pass in 2 miles for under 30 or some shyt

7 min mile elite for a regular person IMO. Ain’t no casual runner runnjng a 7 min mile unless u just a natural. I would say it’s way more people benching 225 then got a 7 min mile..
Hell no. Ima disagree on that. 7 min mile is more common. Running has no barrier to entry, benching 225 is a commitment to proper dieting with protein intake and gym going.

A 7 minute mile takes work obviously but not nearly as much, especially since lighter weight people make it easier. Look at how many people run 5k and marathons

42, consistent gym goer, lift heavy (up until recently but now my right shoulder is giving me issues. I'm going to have to start lightening up. Worried I'm going to blow my shoulder out.

Past few years I've gotten an impingement in my left shoulder i guess its rotator cuff
Happens every time i do overhead lifts with free weights
and each time it happens, it takes longer and longer to heal. last time almost a whole year.
I find assisted weight machines make it a lot easier

Exactly what I was doing. Overhead press. Im just going to have to switch my normal routine up. I'll go crazy if I get injured and cant do anything in the gym.
