Line dances, call and response, a DJ telling the crowd what dance to do goes way back in NOLA…

Probably goes back before that too. I dont remember if T Tucker was calling out dances.

:patrice:

That was back in my middle school (jr. high) and high school days. 👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽

EDIT…

yep

I fool with them. I was in the N.O. From ‘95-‘00. To me that’s peak bounce music.

The only person I couldn’t rock with was Katy Red.
:dame:

He’s/she’s Dwight Howard kinda people.

You know what, my wife mentions that everytime we go down there, how sassy the men are. She always says them whoadies gay as hell.
I don't look for gay tendencies so she has to point it out to me.

That's not that bad, I thought it was going to be some Messy Mya stuff. I was shocked when I found out dude was straight (so they say) and had children.

He wasn’t straight. But did have a baby with his best friend (female).

Not as bad as some African dances in the nineties, but a lot of male dances are complementary to how women from your area move their waistline to the beat :dame:
Can't just be standing still while your girl is backing it up, at least thats how it used to be.
