you can't buy beer til noon. You can buy it at 7am every other day

You can't buy liquor on Sundays and the liquor stores close at 9 throughout the week.

But yeah, there's nice communities of them here and I find that most are the medical field...docs, pharmacist ect...

met a Nigerian girl here in Houston and she was one of the most amazing Black women I've ever met in my entire life.

I've never had a conversation with an American Black woman like I had with her. she was so dynamic.

Yeah, I was shocked. A lot of dark skinned women who I think is a typical southern black girl have parents from Nigeria.

chamillionare is half nigerian. I assume that they're so deep down there to the point that alot of em (the first generation at least) just assimilated with Black Americans.

Same thing in D.C./maryland. I've met a whole bunch of dudes from there who you wouldn't even know they were African unless you saw their name or they told you.

Basically, it's so many of us and we been here so long blacks in Houston are really accepting of us. In the Southwest and Alief it's like 1 of 5 black kids are Nigerian.

One of the founding members of the Screwed Up Click was Nigerian too.

I'd say it was 9 pm when I went to the gas station and and took a 40 oz to the register and buddyroe looked at me like I was a Martian bruh did a double take and everything and damn there yelled "this is Texas!" shyt fukked me up
