I do only when talking to people that also do, writing lyrics and in certain places on the internet. I try to use it sparingly, weening myself off

Unless its for a rare joke between friends and loved ones. Otherwise I just say "n-word" IMO. I don't know if it's because I'm corny but to me it's awkward AF to say it often.

This is why I don't know why other races are desperate to say the n word. I can go through 30+ years and only say nikka 5x a year.
I use it for effect in a joke or something. I never saw the point in overusing it like people do.

When I lived in NYC for a while, Hispanics said it 100 times more than any black New Yorker. That shyt was a huge culture shock. Made me want to stop using it ever again. :francis:

The cap in here about people not saying that word anymore. Do y’all even be around black people for real?

I don’t use it nearly as much as I used to but it’s def still in my vocab around my boys and fam.

I never say it. It's a word that just never made it's way into my lexicon. I obviously don't want to hear other races use it, but, honestly, I don't enjoy hearing other black people use the word either. I wonder if the word will ever fall "out of style," and why it hasn't fallen out of style like "negro," or "colored." Maybe because it was popularized by rap music, but why that word. Something I think about from time to time.
