A good friend of mine was dating this sorta hipster guy before (idk why they had NOTHING in common and were complete opposites) but his roommate..
He was such a pretentious hipster. He worked at Salvation Army, so of course that's like all he wore. But he owned like a 400 dollar pair of those hipstery glasses. Was vegan. Of course into art. Was really into super obscure films (I like films but this dude was a complete film snob). Craft beer snob, "casually" snorted coke. He had the most bland boring personality. And his girlfriend sucked too. She went to some art school out in Boston and was just like him
I've been called a hipster on here because of my taste in music but There's definitely more to being a hipster than just your taste in music. I've hung around some, like friends of friends. And I went to some craft beer hipstery bar down in Florida (it was close and my aunt recommended it to me.. I don't even like craft beer) and did not feel comfortable around them at all. The vibe they give off is completely unwelcoming. They all seem to have boring soulless personalities. Like they just give off this awful vibe like If you try and strike up a convo with them to be friendly you feel like you're not "cool enough" and are looked down upon.
