Why?

I think what people mean in the figurative sense is that they don't subscribe to racial stereotypes (i.e. they judge individuals)...that's the way I take it anyway...if that is in fact what they mean...then I can dig it.

I see you're reppin new black. And these are the only type of black people that would say the phrase. And you're defending it too. Makes sense.
