I think I might go too far and curse his ass out. I work in corrections, we monitor cctv's, patrol the grounds etc. Also, our office is recorded, management can hear everything we say. He got a fat pawg fired because she said she wanted to kick her ass.
oh, you a C.O.? ...

Why would you change your job in this market? Risky.

Also why would he be lining up his schedule with yours? :leostare:

If it's too much, file a complaint with management

If they don't listen, poison his coffee
It's actually very easy for him to change jobs within his industry. The corrections department is struggling to fill jobs in every county and city in America.

Very few people are willing to hold those jobs Because of how depressing and dangerous this positions can be. And it's the whole prison system, from the IT team to the corrections officers, to the tradesmen, to even the nurses. For example, I have an aunt who is a nurse with only an associates degree that has made More than $300,000 every single year for the last 5 years as a corrections nurse in the cali system. She can only do this because there is infinite over time and endless pay incentives, since it's impossible to find normal people to do that job.

Like seriously , sit back for a second and try to think of anyone you know that Would want to volunteer to work at San Quentin or Angola or rikers Island as a free citizen. :hubie:

I hate my co worker. He complains all day, frowns his face and curses about every little thing. The guy is toxic. I'm trying to find another job to get away from him. Recently, he's been switching his off days to my off days. Im at my wits end. Any advice?

There was no indication that he worked in the penal system :hubie:

OP..

Hate is a strong word! May wanna work on that emotion and basically tell this person that you are not interested and discussing anything that isn't related to the job.

I would ignore him, walk away. If you need to talk to a supervisor, then do so. But, before you go that route, document everything, especially if you believe that he is in cahoots with someone in the HR department. Basically, don't say or do anything that will get you written up or fired.
