I hate pictures of myself. Is this "normal"?

I don't consider myself ugly, but I can and have seriously gone years without taking pictures of myself or "selfies".

Honestly, when I was working out heavy, I would just take progress pics just to show off how far I've come..but that was it. That's when I actually enjoyed taking pictures of myself, but I just don't think I'm as narcisstic and self-absorbed as the rest of this internet generation.

I don't have a negative self-image, but I just don't like taking pictures of myself...why is this?

It's because what you see in the mirror is a reflection, not reality. What you see from the camera is reality.
