I'm from Detroit, Kid Rock was not just some dude who did rap to get somewhere else. He came up in the scene in a genuine fashion. He's a hip hop head. I'm not gonna talk shyt about his past given that he has donated to the city and its people.
BUT the first red flag to me was 2012, not 2016. Remember, Kid Rock was riding with Mitt Romney that year. In Michigan. Let us not forget Romney got smoked in Michigan and the Midwest in general because he said "let Detroit go bankrupt" during the 08/09 recession. He was firmly against bailing out the auto industry. So why was Kid rocking with a man who was reviled in Michigan? An elitist rich snob who hasn't lived a regular life. Yet that was better to Kid Rock than Obama? Tells you everything you need to know.
He's either racist or willingly catering to racists. Or both.

I remember some MTV documentary show and I guess Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit Soft were on tour together. Fred Durst was in some store or gas station and saw a belt with a Confederate flag buckle. Fred Durst was like "I'm gonna buy this for Kid Rock"
