If you like driving, UPS is always a good look...yeah you gotta actually move packages so it depends on how physical a job you can handle, but those brehs make good money. They're all Teamsters, so you get all those union protections + good benefits & stock options on top of it.

For a new guy it won't be so sweet. It'll take some time to get to the level the other guys are at. They don't want to see you come up that fast either. They want you to go through that "initiation" process.

But you will start off decent though.

I think the best way to get out of that rat race is too is to invest what you make (whether it is real estate, your own business etc.). That won't be easy but having the ability to work on your own time and be your own boss to me is priceless. Put in that work take that first step and just go for it.
That's what alot of the Immigrants do. They live with multiple family members and carpool to work, so their transportation/housing cost is under $250/mo total. After the first year they have enough to money to begin pursuing side hustles/career training, and after 5 years they either got their own full fledged business or have graduated from simply having a job to an actual career.

But the average american is get peer pressured into having their own car, and being independent "being independent". They spend $1000/mo, Which is a significant amount of their check which is why they're stuck and can't do anything.

Join the wave breh, we not with that 9-5 shyt anymore.

Check out the antiwork subreddit. And don't have kids.

Here's an interesting article too, it's alright to do nothing, society has you pressured into feeling guilty about not being "productive" (aka making money for someone else), and tries to define you by your job or how much you work.

Anyone who tries to shyt on you for this line of linking is just projecting their own miserable thoughts that they don't want to accept.

Remember, nobody asked to be born. There are a lot of different paths this can take you, but for me personally it brought me happiness knowing that if I'm not happy by say, age 30, then I can go ahead and kill myself and bow out of all the 9-5 shyt. It's not a selfish thing, the selfish thing is to have children that won't be significantly better off than yourself. Why bring them into this shyt just for them to repeat what you did, work a 9-5 for 40 years, then die?

And don't let them try to tell you that you're supposed to find purpose in life through work, that's bullshyt too. I find meaning in life pursing my passions and finding new hobbies, or topics to learn about. Listening to music, simple shyt like taking my dog for a walk. Sitting in an office all day brings me nothing, and the only reason anyone does it is so that they can eat. If everyone was free to pursue what they wanted without the fear of failure or being homeless/going hungry the world would be much better. How many of y'all would still go work some fast food job, or an office job if you didn't have to? But hey, saying that it gives you purpose helps to forget how soul sucking it really is.

Brehs really dapping this loser shyt?

That California Lifestyle ...
For real. I remember in 2012 when I had an epiphany.

I was with my ex and we were walking through town. We went to the bakery to get some pastries. The woman behind the counter was in her 60s. Fairly innocuous. When she served us though, I could just see the misery in her eyes. And then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I don’t know that woman or her backstory, but I know for a fact she never thought as a child that would be her life: serving pastries in her old age. I’m sure like any other child she had dreams and ambitions. But someone has to serve food. Someone has to be the security guard. Someone has to clean hotels. Someone has to work at the checkout. The question is.. is this going to be your life or simply a transition to something greater?

And to think, everyone that’s breathing air right now has won the lottery. The fact we’re alive right now means we were the strongest during conception. The fact that we’re here means something. We all can’t be “amazing” at something but we shouldn’t feel like we’re wasting our lives.

That’s what made me realize I was coasting through life. I had allow society to put my dreams on the back burner. I didn’t want to end up miserable like that woman in the bakery. We only have one life and God damn it, mine isn’t going to be mediocre. I’m going to be somebody in life and leave my mark.

Which means I’m going to take chances and fail and fail again until I know I gave it my best chance. I’ll never settle for being average since that moment. Too many of us are content with being average. Never me. At all.

The premise of the article has merit. I find idleness to be like a form of meditation. I've always hated how people define everyone as extroverted or introverted. From my travels I find there is a spectrum and that society takes a toll on you the more invested you are in it. It's why people need the retreat

that said, encouraging suicide is another animal entirely and is careless. Doing what's necessary to provide for oneself can't be ignored. But being satisfied in your pursuits is noble.

You can literally feel the social conditioning, just go sit in a chair and stare out the window for a few minutes and you'll get the feeling that something isn't right. Like you're not allowed to be doing this, maybe it's just guilt.

My grandpa the master of this shyt, dude had a waterfall built in his backyard just to chill and watch birds :wow:

What part are you referring to? I'm struggling to understand how wanting to stop mandatory wage slavery is loser shyt.

Probably talking about how the cat is here complaining about stuff instead of asking how to change it. If OP posed a question like how do I change this 9 to 5 routine cool. bytching about something and not doing anything to change it is loser shyt!
