I Hate To Say It, But The Witcher 3 Is Ass

I've put in 20+ hours before I finally called it quits

The game is overbearing with its story; it does a poor job of explaining what/how you do things, it's too much traveling, Geralt moves so clunky, and lastly fukk having health regenerating enemies.

Maybe it's cause I'm playing on PS4, but I don't why this got so many GOTY awards.

To me, it's not that it's ass, it's just not my kind of game.

Mass Effect 3 was ok to me.
Horizon had several of W3's flaws(travel fatigue, excessive dialogue) but I enjoyed the stealth combat and climbing towers.

I've actually never been a big fan of the combat in the witcher. I agree that the way Geralt moves is kind of clunky. To me the game has already shown it's age also. Going back to it after playing Horizon is pretty jarring.
The story elements of The witcher are really dope though. That's why I keep going back to it every now and then. I just can't seem to get hooked on it. I have a similar opinion of dragon age inquisition.
I can see how people love the game, it just doesn't work for me on the same level.

TLOU ruined games with story for me. If I ain't invested I can't do it like I could as a kid. Witcher story was too boring for me.
