it's a shame young nikkas today know nothing about how great charles was.
barkley was nasty. he could do everything.

he lost a step or two here, but he had a flawless offensive game

he could turn around and fade all day 1:06
beautiful step back at 2:12, and no harden didn't invent step back
fade and counter and gets his own rebound - how he gets so many rebounds 2:20
palm fake bank shot at will 4:30
baseline spin move reverse 4:55
fade J on much taller and longer cwebb 5:10

those are unguardable fundamental moves. barkley knows how to use his body. ain't nobody can guard barkley 1 on 1. barkley was unique offensive machine.

and he is lazy on D, so he would fit right in :russ:
that’s a dope highlight but they way defense was being played on him is trash. With illegal defense not being a thing the stuff he doing would be suppressed

Thank you basketball biggest evolution is the big man. They have so much freedom now more than ever. I think coaching has gotten much better so the nba players are more refined in areas that matter the most
Technology and data mining has gotten better. Information is acquired faster than ever.

25 years ago you had to wait to get coaches vhs of the game or using a proejctor and looking at slides. Now during the games you have tablets ipads etc.. That can show you the entire 1st quarter or what teams are running real time on flim that you can make adjustments 2

I’m sorry..... you’re right...... maybe from them SCRUB 20-win teams

But unless they able to adapt and shoot 20+ footers, play above average perimeter defense, run the court, and can handle the ball pretty well.

Man you owe an apology for this atrocious posting, as well as the toddlers that dapped it
Detlef Scrimps was the precursor to Dirk.....and was money from 3 on NBA Live games:birdman:

Don't forget about Dell Curry :russ:

Anyway, as skilled as PF's are today, I'd take Dennis Rodman over all of them and he could'nt shoot worth a damn :yeshrug:

This is what these new "skilled" players do when they cant use 3 illegal screens and palm the basketball

I see this all the time

SFs, PFs, with 8 inch height advantages cant do shyt in the post vs small guards like Lowry, CP3, FVV, etc.

Ingram cant even post up a dude he has damn near 10 INCHES OF HEIGHT ON

first

1) gave a man a shytty pass. because teams dont practice this no more

2) didnt establish on the left block. he's out to the damn 3 point line

Nah bruh, Centers back in the day couldn’t brick 3s all game

The funniest thing about this topic is that the 60s and 70s NBA is what the NBA is trying to be now, but is failing

In that era, switching on defense was normal, there was alot of position-less basketball. You had Wilt Chamberlain lead the league in assists in one season, the ABA brought flashy athletic dunks and 3 pointers, etc
But they also had mid range and post play, which this era lacks

This era makes average players look like all stars. Lets just be honest

Jamaal magloire
Brad miller
Antonio Davis
