The dialect you CHOOSE to speak designates in-group status. You choosing not to speak AAVE tells us, black and white, that you don't identify as part of the (black) group. You know what the hell you doing, white folks do too, that's why you do it. Foh.
It is a small thing. It's not the same as a white mindset, attitude or habits.
It's just speech. That's all it is, speech.
Judge a person by their character.

It all depends on how you grow up.
If you grow up with nothing but a bunch of Kylie Jenners you might talk like Kylie Jenner, I see no problem with that.
But it has nothing to do with sounding educated as you say. White and black has nothing to do with how properly you speak, those dumb valley girls or the redneck Trumpers and shyt have white accents. Just like there will be people with black accents that speak like Obama or Plies.
However, some dumb black folks will tell smart black folks that they sound white, just because they speak properly. But that's just pure ignorance.
