Yes, there is such a thing as talking white. Go to a suburban white area and listen to a white girl talk. Count the amount of times she says the word "like" . They say like 30 times per minute. White women from mayo backgrounds always talk with that upward inflection in every sentence. Family Guy called attention to that shyt.



I hear suburban black girls, Indian girls and Asian girls copying those valley girl speech patterns. And it is hella cringeworthy. It's a double standard because valley girl speak makes white women sound like airhead California suburban teenage big hair fuchsia windbreaker with high waisted acid washed jeans and Avia sneaker wearing mall rats from the late 80's. Yet, black people sound "uneducated" for having non-cac accents and speech patterns. White supremacy strikes one mo gin.

If races sound different "scientifically", then why do Latinos have such a wide range of accents? Camila Cabello and 6ix9ine are from both of comparable racial background but sound way different. That's a common thing.

I think it's just that AAs have been passing down accents for generations, which is why you can usually tell if someone is black just by hearing them. Although I'm not sure how this works with people born in the US of Caribbean descent.
