When a bully picks on you, it's not enough to get angry and walk away. We have to make the world respect us. I think too many people are still hoping the government or a presidential candidate is going to change things. They won't. The republicans are anti-black, but not anymore than the Democrats. Obama passed blue lives matter laws and was anti-reparations, Bill Clinton dismantled welfare and signed the crime bill. Biden wrote the damn crime bill, and that's who they're trotting out for us to vote? If Bernie were the candidate, he was anti-reparations, signed the crime bill, and was against measures that would have immediately helped the Flint water crisis.
The change our community needs is going to come from within, not outside. Not from the President, Mayor, Attorney General, or any other government entity. They're against us. Once people fully realize this, we can begin to make some real changes. Group economics, our own police force, and no more race soldiers in our neighborhoods. I swear, police aren't even solving real crimes in our communities. Check the Chicago solved murder rate. Last I heard, more than 78 percent of murders where the victim is black are unsolved. I'm sure it's like that in every majority black neighborhood..
