I recently just unblocked everyone that was on my ignore list here on TheColi. I felt that I was limiting myself and being closed minded.

I participate on this forum to chop it up with fellow Black Men. Yeah- we have to get off that “traditionally black “ as far as that goes. There’s a lot of interests that black people have outside of the spectrum- I know that I have a wide range of interests as well as other people which doesn’t make us any “less black” or foundational for our culture. I like horror movies, art, crafting, painting, writing, - even the music I listen to may not be the typical “black girl” interests like harder underground street rap but I’m still feminine. That’s not how to judge someone. I’m saying that, I agree with what you said. It sounds cliche but Black people are not a monolith - we are diverse and versatile.
