There's been alot of experimentation in hip hop from 2000 upwards that has lowered the bar.

There's a formula for quality rap. When rappers divert too much it's not good.

And I'm anxious about how Rza stopped using samples.

I agree on all you said. I just think New York 90s is still the best form of rap. Especially 98.

But yes, innovation is important to push everything forward.
