Its a good safe investment that you have to put the money in for 1 year. But the principle is guaranteed cause its a loan to the government. Just make sure when you fill out the information when setting up an account that your drivers license or state ID matches your information where you live. Or else the system will reject you.

If where you live is different than on your ID, put the address when setting your account up as the one listed on your ID.
