I have a hard time believing that 5'9" is the average height for men

Are both of your parents short? My cousin is 5'3 but his mom is 5'8 and his dad 5'10. I always thought that was weird.

I like my height and it definitely brings attention but its right on the cusp of being 'normal'. Especially when looking for dress shirts or dress pants suits or whatever can be a hassle. Its like they think if you are 6'4+, you automatically big and tall status.

People that are avg height wont stick out in a crowd. Now a guy 6'1+ will stick out in a crowd just like a 5'3 guy will stick out.
