I want regional music back. I want better content in songs, more emphasis on mic skills...I'll have to admit it might be time to flattop myself and move on.
This made me laugh. I listened to their tape when it dropped while at work, shyt was pure racket, hurt my ears. Finally last month I played it in the car, they gained a fanI only downloaded that Migos mixtape and giving them a chance because they were in that pic with Hov
i aint shyt brehs

I really can't "defend" why I love trap/meaninglessly violent gangsta rap besides saying it's something like a guilty pleasure
Believe me I've heard all the typical "just entertainment/not their responsibility" rhetoric but it's honestly bullshyt I think we accept because we enjoy the music and they enjoy the money.
As someone who'd like to call themselves "conscious" or whatever it's hard to listen to someone melodically rap about killing someone or selling drugs and not think about the kids with no guidance taking the very same lyrics as gospel and leading themselves astray.
Probably isn't the best venue to say this but whatever
. most of it Has no soul
So I'm not the only one that does thisThe other day I spent about 2 hours dancing to 90s music including hammer, marky Mark, & vanilla ice... I was tired as hell afterwards.

- These younger kids I run into around my town (college town) know alot of dope shyt I've never heard (p. reign, party next door, etc)
Feelingat 27 sittin over here with my Rass Kass and Cormega
- I really thought the resurgence of 2000's grimy shyt would catch on with G-Unit, Slaughterhouse, Cam/Dipset, etc all putting out new material and so far I've been dead wrong. Most these younger kids didn't even know any of these artists dropped new shyt![]()
nope.So I'm not the only one that does this![]()
