I have to admit Yakuza series might be the best gaming series ever

It's definitely up there, I slept hard on it too. I seriously sat down and played it after we had got Kiwami for free on PS+. I've been hooked ever since

Wanted to like this series. Tried to like it. Could never get into it. With these heavy Japanese titles, you seem to either love it or hate it.

Every except 5 has good storytelling, gameplay, and open world exploration / replayability something a lot of games don't have

The controls were goofy the fights were goofy and the menu came up to where i had to buy something in a store looked clunky as hell.

I have seriously slept on this series and after beating Judgement and now playing through Yakuza 0. I am being fed something serious and I apologize to Sega for waiting so long.

GTA doesnt have the features and game mode this series has. Let's not discuss the story mode and character detail/development goodness

Worth it.

You will definatly misjudge the story based on it's appearence but it's very mature and grounded.
