All this drip on me
I'm in a similar situation and relocating isn't an issue for me since I don't kids or wife. So I'm evaluating my new job opportunities based on other things.

Anyway if you have a family to provide for take the job that offers the most security, but if you're like me - then take the job which pays more/has the most comprehensive benefit package.:yeshrug:

100% take the union job and thank me later.
Yeah but what if the economy tanks out 5 years from now :mjcry:. Construction is booming right now in Chicago but it’s no way they can keep this up forever

This is for the laborers union. Sewer and water main rehabilitation :scust:

Then you will have learned skills and can always move into another trade. You can also go to school and become oversight or safety.

Don’t ever turn your nose up at union jobs in big cities.
Or I could always move to another area of the country where work is poppin:ld:.

Plus lot of old heads tell me laborers has one of the best benefits/pension packages outta all the trades in Chi. Probably will give the union guy a call in the morning :patrice:
