I know we didnt play by yards, but I vaguely remember that 2 completed passed=a first down or some goofy shít like that:heh:

We lived in a semi-hood where you would see abandoned houses. When a house would get torn down, that was our football field:banderas:

And when we were a player short, somebody volunteered to be quarterback for both teams:dame:

When playing on the street there was some sort of item near the middle/halfway (like a fire hydrant, a crack in the street etc.) that represented a first down marker…other than that you had to score in ur 4 downs

I always just played like a free safety looking for interceptions cuz nikkas really wasn’t drawing up plays…1 or 2 people ran deep and 1 tried to do some sort of slant or cut in..but the QB would just float that shyt in the air deep up for grabs 90% of the time

WE DEFINITELY PLAYED PASS RUSH...

YOU HAD TO COUNT OUT LOUD...
ONE, ONE THOUSAND, TWO, TWO THOUSAND
THREE, THREE THOUSAND
AND RUSH ON FIVE THOUSAND
.

BEFORE FIVE THOUSAND YOU JUST
GUARDED THE QB AND TRIED TO
BLOCK HIS PASS ATTEMPT

Yes!!!!!!!!

I definitely remember this:russ:

I remember those days at recess. The first downs we would set the markings before the game, like a crack on the concrete might be a first down marker. I don’t think the QB was allowed to scramble past the line of scrimmage. One thing I do remember is when me and my homie were on the same team, it was a cheat code. We were both fast, but I was faster. He was better at throwing and catching the ball though. I would just go deep and it was a TD every time. Even the kick returns were an automatic TD if I got the ball.
