That maybe, but their run is undeniable. Out of all these new age Rappers they're the only ones I can stomach. Only other new rappers I'm listening to is Baton Rouge. Das EFX was in the 90's and their run was still short. They some Skee-Lo wish I was little bit taller ass nikkas.
Das Efx should never be compared to Skee-Lo. Das Efx went plat and had people copying that iggity shyt all over the place. Even hopped on a Cube track just to do the hook which was unheard of back then especially with artist from two different coasts

People get fooled and caught up in the triplet flow. They are not really lyrical.

They are not saying anything we haven't heard before. But the timing is different so it sounds new.

edit: And only that one guy in the group is a mumbler. You know who I'm talking about.

Skee-Lo went platinum and name these rappers copying Das EFX besides Fu Snickens or however you spell that shyt. Das EFX must have been big on the east because they had zero influence in that gulf.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRSSSSSS

These nikkas is like a combination of Rakim, Nas and Lupe in their primes mixed with Fergie and Jesus
It's cool to have an opinion, but you can't quote some bullshyt from a single when they have hundreds of mixtape/album cuts that actually have bars. I'm not saying they're on Lupes level of rapping, but stop acting like these nikkas are slouches. I think a lot of yall nikkas problems is all you know or care to know is what you hear on ther radio or whatever, meanwhile people like me been listening to them for damn near a decade so we know their true skills.

No matter what you say or anybody else, its obvious they're the most equally skilled rap group in history...which equates to best rap GROUP ever, technically. Think about what i'm saying before you try to come back withsome dumb ass smileys to say I'm wrong...throw up Bone, 3-6, or any other group and I'll point out a weak link...ain't no weak link in Migos.

There was no weak link in Mobb Deep, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, Run DMC... I can keep going

Das Efx helped push that tongue twisting style of rap to the mainstream. We may never have heard Tung Twista or Bone. They were the precursor to that. Fu Snickens were actual clones but a ton of rappers were using that style in their rhymes from Jay Z to Big L. There presence was felt after they fell off. Whether they had influence in the gulf or not is irrelevant. No disrespect but nobody was checking for anything from the gulf in 91. Hip hop was still basically still east and west

When has group competition ever been a thing in hiphop? Groups never stopped other groups from success and your answer is Rae Sremmurd

Post a Migos song you couldn't understand

Rae Sremmurd

Exactly my point. One other group and that’s with more people rapping now then ever. Hip hop is competition based to its core and they have none
