LOL at "lyrical". Lyrics haven't mattered in popular music since the early 2000s.
So in that respect, what was once deemed "lyrical" was measured by a different standard than what TODAY is regarded as "lyrical".
I mean....you can't say the standard is the same when BITING doesn't even exist anymore. Biting went from being 100% detestable and prohibited to being NORMAL, to where nobody says anything anymore about "borrowing" lyrics.
So if THIS generation of fans think what they do is lyrical....how can you say otherwise? ESPECIALLY if you haven't supported and upheld what you think it SHOULD be/have been?
